Kendall, I went on a cruise to St. Martin years ago and absolutely loved it. I’ve wanted to go back and stay in a resort since. I know this is near the airport, which is totally cool. Are there a lot of flights coming in at night while you’re trying to catch some Zzz’s ? I mean just from your experience. I know you can’t predict future experiences. We really aren’t picky. We just like to have a good time. Just want to know we are booking something in St. Martin we will have that same laid back, general all inclusive feel we’ve had anywhere else. It looks really unique and nice.

Thanks! Sorry it's taken a minute to get back. The planes stop at around 10 pm and don't start til about 7am - the big planes make the most noise. We slept well, except for the hard mattress. Get a mattress topper!

Great video! I am going there in 3 weeks and super excited! Is end of May considered high season? Also, do you need to make reservations at any of the restaurants? Any other advice or tidbits of info that you can think of? ;)

Hey there! Thanks for watching. I believe high season is mainly from November through July. August through October are lower because of potential hurricanes. We did make reservations at the restaurants to get good times. I know there were some walk ups but I would suggest trying to book dinners. If you do the buffet (which is mixed with adults and kids), you can go anytime. I hope you have a great trip!

Also, don’t forget the adults only beach pool in the back. Stay hydrated because it is VERY warm with humidity. Also, ask for some extra pillows to help with the bed!

How is the beach at maho ?

Hello there. Thanks for watching. I enjoyed Maho Beach. It is small, and you have the planes coming over, but it's fun. It's not a typical "laying out" beach. There are plenty of other beaches on SXM where you can do that. But Maho is refreshing. Lovely clear water and soft-ish sand.

I'm curious and please be honest...I'm considering this hotel but I was told that the beds are super-duper uncomfortable; the mattress is extremely hard. What was your experience?? TIA

So, we also did a room review on the channel - I'll link it. Yes, my wife said she didn't sleep well because of the bed. I can sleep on anything but if you are particular, it could be a red flag.
