Nakata is just flat-out the best pop song composer on the planet, IMO. Best & freshest melodies, great structure, excellent matching of lyric sounds to the melody (although I do not understand Japanese), super arrangements, incredible productivity. I figure, anybody who sees this as well must be a visionary of some sort. ;)

Absolutely in agreement about Perfume singing Nakata's songs in a less-processed, "unplugged" (with a soft band) format. I do not think the Japanese language is a barrier to success in the west nearly as much as needing to break-free and being presented in a more straightforward pop/rock format. JMO. I think a great Nakata song for you to try covering would be "Domino" by Coltemonikha. Man, if I lived anywhere near you I'd be happy to back you up on Keyboard, guitar and harmony vocals.

Thanks =] I don't have the chords written down, but I've been asked about Perfume cover lessons so that may be in the near future. Although you can see my hands well in this video so with a bit of work you should be able to get it down. It's really just 7th chords that make it sound "mysterious" lol.
