Song composed by the Tongan Castaways while stranded on their island

The music of the real Lord of the Flies. The Six castaway boys of Ata Island in Tonga.
In 2015 we were lucky to get Kolo to remember and play the song he composed in Ata island during the time he was stranded with his other 5 friends.
Spanish explorer Alvaro Cerezo spent 10 days in Ata alone with Kolo Fekitoa, one of the six young castaways. And Kolo played the song on the island with a guitar made by coconut, timber and the wire from the wreck of the boat.
Months before starting the adventure in Ata, Alvaro got him a guitar in Nukualofa Town and asked Kolo to practice for weeks until he remembered the song.

Only just heard of this story and when it was mentioned that Kolo fashioned a guitar from the wreckage and a coconut shell I HAD to hear the music that came from such a trying time. New band name: Emo Castaways 😂 I honestly went into this video thinking it would be more of a cheerful song, a song they made to lift their spirits. Which I now realize is a naive thought.
