I like the look and it looks like it could ve fun. I could not help but look at your shelf. Love seeing some classics like Panzer Blitz & Leaderr along with Patons best and Raid on St Nazaire. Oh btw my chart for ASL I heard there was problems with it I redid it as a PDF I hopw they get out on the site soon

Thanks for that. it was very helful and informative. I will back it come the time, I did so the first time round and was disappointed when it didn;t come to fruition. I play mostly solo but reckon I can develop my own rules re the hidden fleets. Thanks again, and all the best.

I agree on the hidden fleets, and think that the solitaire guidelines might help with that too.

Nice review. The map is a real eyecatcher. I think it'd look even better with sculpts instead of cardboard counters. One could obviously use some from other games or 3d print away :)

I think the challenge would be that there are around 400 units in the game, and the spaces would get a bit congested. It's nice to be able to stack up some of the similar units when there is a battle in a space.

Yep - we agree. On the pieces, we are using wood pieces with double-sided silk screen - no cardboard.

So what has changed since the first failed offering of this game a year ago? Lower price due to simpler playing pieces?

I think in the upcoming Kickstarter they'll clarify in more detail, but the biggest thing is the addition of two shorter scenarios using two new maps, and splitting the Kickstarter so people can get either a version that contains just the two shorter scenarios or a version that contains all four scenarios. Also, refinements to gameplay, components, rules, etc.

Hi - we made several changes. To Zilla's point, the most notable is we added two new scenarions (Italy and North Africa) that will be on the flip side of the dial sided map. The piece count and piece quality will remain the same. We did decide to forego the use of any plastic minis, however - but there were very few in the game to being with. We also expanded several of the unit upgrades, and added new mechanics for mines, defensive lines, bridges / blowing bridges, and finally created some tournament time rules.

A game I bought a long time ago when I didn't have anyone to play with, and then realized it wasn't playable solo. I've never played it.
