What a great video! Very enjoyable watching the two of you "after action report" on your game. Hearing from two people who had a good time playing a historical board war game, is just the best. Winning and losing is just a by product of a good game. The real heart of a good game is one that gives both players, regardless of whether they've won or lost, a good experience. Tie that in with the social experience of playing with a friend, and that's just the best, to me. Sounds like a great game was had, great company, and a great memory was created! Thanks for sharing! Great conversation. Gives me many remembrances of games played past. Midway was my 3rd game and didnt get as much play time, but still love the PACWAR genre

Thanks. I think of this more as an impressions video rather than a full review, which would take more plays and a deeper exploration of the other scenarios. But I think the playthrough gave us a good sense of gameplay and the systems at play here.

Thanks, really great vid - kind of extended AAR 😁 I've played this one but didn't like the tempo and especially CRT, I really need to play Pacific War (GMT) and Fire in the Sky (Phalanx)..

Midway was my first, age 11. Yeah, aircraft attrition was rather heavy!

Yeah, I remember after a first big raid you'd often have just enough left to a smaller second one, which often couldn't get through a massive Japanese task force.
