As some one training BJJ for almost 10 years i know from experience that what is explained in these lessons exists and is the true way of attaining greater mastery over your own body and mind as well as over your opponents energy being projected on to you. It trully is fascinating what our bodies are capable of. Im now practicing daily the 8 gate Qui Gong as well as the Fascia seminar, and managing to apply in real life sparring for now little but fascinating elements of your teachings Master. When it works it trully feels like magic, like a black belt level details on grapling that BJJ instructors dont talk about.

Thank you for that awesome feedback! It makes me incredibly happy to hear that you are experiencing success applying the fascia mastery techniques in real life sparring and grappling! Especially coming from someone who has been training with dedication for ten years, that means a lot to me that you are able to open your mind, learn new things, and have the courage to test it out there! As you gain skill and comfort in the skills, to please share this knowledge with people! I have plans to release a ground grappling course that fully utilizes this and I think you will love it when it's ready. 😀 I especially love your last sentence, "like black belt level details on grappling that instructors don't talk about" because I do see high high level practitioners of wrestling and grappling use this, possibly on instinct. And we know that real black belts of BJJ they just move differently and feel different. Maybe these skills I'm sharing is part of their secret. Whether they know it or not, teach it or not, I hope to share it with everyone, and hope people can experience it with an open mind, learn with a curious heart, and enjoy a higher level of skill to their practice, whatever their style they love is! Would it be okay if I quote your last sentence on the course website as a student feedback? I think your perspective as someone serious and experienced in something beyond Tai Chi would mean a lot to people considering learning this. Thank you! 😀🙏

Least convincing but probably telling to be one level better relaxed than your opponent. One level deeper, like a soldier in a trench waiting for enemy infantry chargin against him. Good idea. Many thanks, Best regards, Paul, 68, retired teacher.

That is a good analogy, for the opponent charging against the trench, because they do not know where the enemy will appear, they cannot prepare neither their aim nor their defense optimally. In the Art of War, if you can win the battle of information, knowing yourself and knowing your enemy, while depriving them of valuable data about yourself, you can create misdirection, they will be less effective, and you may even be able to direct enemy forces into a subtle trap.

How do you meditate to achieve total relaxation, and how do you sense your internal energy yin and yang flow in your fascia to affect someone, can it also heal someone. Is it electrical when you pass it to someone.

You are very perceptive to the keys to success! There are other Qigong traditions that discuss an electrical quality, or discuss Qi as a form of bioelectricity. But in our tradition, it is more of an emotional and spiritual experience and connection. So rather than feeling like you are electrocuting someone, it's like when you hug someone to make them feel better, and you feel them begin to relax, or like when you give someone a pat on their back to encourage them, and you feel them perk up with confidence. How to sense your internal energy yin and yang? The key is to practice a Qigong that goes beyond thinking about Yin and Yang, to allow yourself to experience Yin and Yang Qualities on a deep level. In our tradition we do this from Day 1, with the Yin and Yang Transformation Qigong. It has just two simple movements but you are coached to recognize and experience Yin and Yang in each part of your body and mind. Would you like to learn it? Here is our follow along lesson for it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJrOimWDrtuEq6c How do you recognize qi flow in your fascia? Once you can feel Yin and Yang in your body, the next step is to learn to feel it in another person. This is done through a series of partner practices, starting from when the connection is most obvious (rigid and intentional action) to least obvious (relaxed and no intentional action). Can it heal someone? This is a great question! Yes beyond applying Yin and Yang, you also learn to have and apply Qualities such as relaxation (Song), Peng (to float) and more. These Qualities can be soothing, pleasant, and relaxing in a way that is very beneficial. And you may have already begun to consider how balancing one's Yin and Yang can also be of benefit. Healing practice is an excellent way of deepening your awareness of yourself and another person, in a harmonious context beyond what you achieve in competitive practice. Several of my best students enjoy learning healing arts, either with me or with another tradition. How do you meditate to achieve total relaxation? You may have experienced the challenge of focusing your mind in meditation. We rise above that with guided meditation that will help you to relax first the tension points, then the energy centers, and finally the mind and spirit. Does that sound helpful? And what if it only took a few minutes? Would that be worth a few minutes? Here is a video recording of the guided meditation to accomplish this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6LbnaeJi6ZrnbM Thank you for the thoughtful questions! I'm sure you helped many other people deepen their understanding!
