My beloved spoke, and said to me: "Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone, The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!" - Song of Solomon 2:10~13

God sure did bless this guy with a great ability to teach. I'm a little bummed I didn't get to meet him in this lifetime. Perhaps the next.

Just a wonderful teaching. Every young person/couple should study this book. I do pray that Mr. and Mrs. Pawson are doing well these days.

What a beautiful way of taking a recent event in time and relating it with the scriptures. Talk about perfect timing. This is it. Amazing!

Great video! Really enjoyed it. Although please don't spam my subscription box, you can set the videos on a timer to relese every so often so they are not out all at once. That way more people would see them as having a whole stack of them at one time will put people off watching them.

David Pawson has made many good Bible teachings, but this is for sure not one of them. No, it is not the woman, who is saying, I am the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley, which is titles of Jesus Christ. Song of Solomon is the book in the Bible, that establishes the Jews as the bride of Christ, also a bride, that lost her first love, if you read on to the end of that book. There is, by the way, great symbolism in those flowery titles for God/ Jesus Christ: The rose of Sharon referring to a not specified species of flower, that were ever blooming and the lily of the valley is a rare thing. Figure out, how that is essential doctrines and teachings in our faith! Many of course claim, that Isaiah were the one, who first established the bride of Christ doctrine in the Bible, but I also have noticed, that many shy away from teaching or even reading the Song of Solomon, because of the erotic language, but try to read it as symbolism, the love affair between God and His chosen people, and will not offend you anymore, but you will see clearly, what it is all about.
