There is an English version, which is not an exact translation. Between the here, between the now Between the north, between the south Between the west, between the east Between the time, between the place From the shell A song of the sea Neither quiet nor calm Searching for love again Mo ghrá (My love) Between the winds, between the waves Between the sands, between the shore From the shell A song of the sea Neither quiet nor calm Searching for love again Between the stones, between the storm Between belief, between the sea Tá mé i dtiúin (I am in tune)
This movie was just Beautiful. The real bad guy in this movie was more of the concept of Grief and Sadness. This movie was so sad in a lushious way specially for the Owl lady when you realize she was hurting too and what she thought was good intent wasn't and was loss in her own depression.
@jeboshifru6 жыл бұрын
No, Grief and Sadness are not bad guys. Bad guy is a denial of grief and sadness. And parental overprotection, also.
@jamesbearvr6 жыл бұрын
Sanja Maksimovic thanks for expanding yes it IS the denial of grief and sadness. Like bottling up the feelings.

Sometimes we are not able to accept our grief/pain. We fear if we do it will totally 'break' us. But, we have a responsibility to others, particularly if those others are young and also in pain.💝

You know, this movie made realize. that everything has a purpose, even that witch. In kids movies these days, the bad guy is just the plan old bad guy. but this movie actually gave back story to the antagonist, and it was very emotional and grand
@katmhcharis12363 жыл бұрын
Hello there, General Kenobi!
@Xaforn3 жыл бұрын
No one understands what an antagonist is anymore; a character with a different viewpoint and motive, not necessarily good or bad.
@katmhcharis12363 жыл бұрын
@@Xaforn I mean technically he’s not wrong. An antagonist is just someone who opposes or serves as a block to the hero, so in media like shonen anime there are characters like rivals who aren’t usually evil and have some form of sympathetic motivation but they serve to conflict with the hero, so they still fill an antagonistic role. Meanwhile a villain/bad guy is someone who does evil things. They overlap in the antagonist category, but not every antagonist is a villain. Most villains are antagonists.
@Katharina-rp7iq3 жыл бұрын
@@katmhcharis1236 sadly, a lot of the villains are protagonists (they're shown in a sympathetic light but that doesn't make them morally acceptable - take ocean's 11) hence heroes can also be antagonists. A lot of villain Protagonists also have villain antagonists that happen to be worse though.
@katmhcharis12363 жыл бұрын
@@Katharina-rp7iq I would argue that most protagonists in media aren’t really villains but they fall somewhere on the lawful to chaotic spectrum (The DND alignment chart is really handy for that) Most protagonists that operate outside the law I find are not so much villains (my personal preference is that villains describes characters that are like Disney/anime megalomaniacal evil) but more on the lines of antiheroes (good natured characters but do illegal things that might be good but also for partially self serving reasons) or in that kind of chaotic good Robin Hood vein of stealing from the rich. My favorite example is Leverage, where the entire team is a group of master thieves (most definitely breaking the law) but they steal from corrupt corporations and help those hurt by said businesses. Aladdin could also fall into that similar good but operates outside the law category since he does steal, but he does it to survive and is genuinely a good person. Like stealing isn’t good, but saying that they are villains or antagonists feels like the wrong descriptor.

I love this movie and it's music so much. So I've always been a Celtic music fanatic,and some Anina song led me to the song,and I watched the movie many times after that. it's an absolute masterpiece,and reaches the heart so beautifully. Whenever Saoirse would blow the conch shell Id be mesmerized..and the concept of each beard hair a story blew me away. the best thing is it tells us that our emotions are important,even negative ones, without them, we're no better than rock. Please,if you haven't watched it , watch it. and if you have,well,watch it again.
