In this episode of the Vault Sessions, Mississippi native, Paul Thorn discusses, songwriting, eating ice cream with John Prine, the meaning of "Hotty Toddy", his affinity for gospel tunes, and his unique Mississippi-shaped guitar. He also shares his song, "Holy Hotty Toddy" and a verse of his favorite John Prine tune, "Dear Abby."

I agree with everything that Paul Thorn has said in this interview. it's great what he's said about John Prine. it's a terrible shame that he died from covid. he did an AWESOME tribute to Levon Helm after he died. at the midnight ramble at the barn. Roger Waters from Pink Floyd was also there. and performed the best version. of "Wide Wide River to Cross" I have ever heard. and he sang with John Prine. it's something I will never forget. and Paul Thorn belongs in the same category of musicians.
