I know you consider yourself more of an efficiency player but I do think there is a strong argument for setting all 3 meta fleets on defense right now. Even if your opponent also sets all 3 meta ships you should be able to full clear Negotiator and Endurance both have the potential to one-shot Leviathan and if not at least take out Dagger and a few others for a two-shot Tarkin has the potential to one-shot Executor with Punishing One and if not at least set up for a two-shot with either Finalizer or Malevolence With at least relic 3-5 geos Malevolence has the potential to one-shot Profundity and if not at least set up for a two-shot So in the worse case scenario you could do: Negotiator + Home One/Raddus -> Leviathan Tarkin + Finalizer -> Executor with Punishing One Malevolence + Home One/Raddus -> Profundity But if they don't set Profundity like I've been typically seeing in Kyber 1 then you can do: Negotiator + Home One/Raddus -> Leviathan Tarkin + Finalizer -> Executor with Punishing One Raddus -> Malevolence In this case your opponent would probably attempt: Profundity with MK6 -> Leviathan Leviathan -> Executor with Punishing One But then they are stuck trying Negotiator against Profundity which can work, but is a counter not many people have done that often and are comfortable with Even with the new updates to Scimitar fixing the Leviathan mirror match, this will just encourage efficiency players to bring Leviathan on offense for a guaranteed win in the mirror match, but then they will still have to figure out a way to beat both Executor with Punishing One and Profundity on defense. This could be consistently done with: Negotiator/Endurance -> Executor with Punishing One Profundity -> Profundity but I make sure to set the Tie Bomber as the only reinforcement which makes it a little harder/different to win the mirror match This is just what has been anecdotally working for me but I have won multiple of the 6 matches this season because my opponent couldn't clear my ships and I cleared theirs, just with a couple drops. At the end of the day I still think people will do the best with what they are comfortable with, but just wanted to provide you with my reasoning for why I have been setting all 3 meta fleets

Tough match man, that Zombie dc is no joke. At 41:18 you shoulda done Profundity’s second move which gives you 10% download progress (instead of doing the basic) and then given it to the Falcon. It would have cleansed the Falcon and then enabled Outrider to possibly assist on the Falcon’s attacks and get you to 100%. Ships suck so bad right now. Your Leia strategy was masterful, I have to rewatch that and take notes!

One idea for the post-GM cron world - I use Malgus against GM teams without GM cron. Even with Morgan or zombie cron, still a solid win.

At least Scimitar changes make LEvi mirrors easy now. I beat a fully maxed Levi with my zeta-less Drevan Levi with ease over and over since last night.

Master Songeta, I'm not sure which SWGOH player made a tutorial against Leviathan using Profundity, but there are some variations which uses U-Wing as reinforcement. There's some RNG, but you'd preserve a full Sith fleet. Another possibility would be a two-battle to defeat it, but that's not the best scenario...

I was like man I didn't do shit my score was horrible that round. But once I saw you caught up on fleets I played kinda fast and loose trying counters I never used before.

Frustration is real. We all loose matches. Lost 6 rounds in a row... One small mistake in offense (or in defense planning) and it can go south, especially in fleets. It's not over until the last battle is.

At first I was self reflecting that enjoying it made me a bad person, but then I realized it’s just that I got comfort from the fact that even really seasoned players can be caught off guard and get irate at GAC 😅

You went on great, and than ships happened. think you should have used the first special on MILF instead of basic on Outrider. Which would have given you more hits and cleansed MILF. Still you were behind on getting ult, would still be a coinflip. With the change on Scmittar you should have much less rng/ Nice to see how you handled Leia, I am struggling so I will steal your strategy with using Plo :) Thanks
