I've decided it's not the beat, nor the funk. Neither is it the blues. It's the pulse. These guys just pump along like nobody else. Thickens the blood. Superb.

Well, the roots and origins of the blues were conceived in such places as Mali and other African countries. It should be of no surprise to no one. Cool ass vibe!
@MarsLonsen5 жыл бұрын
origin of the blues is the American south. yes African-Americans were the ones to play it, but saying it originated in Africa is wrong.
@markthompson18194 жыл бұрын
I’d guess that given that slaves were being kidnapped from Africa and brought to the US right up until the civil war they’d have brought their musical traditions with them. There’s a massive crossover between this sound and North Mississippi Hill Country blues as exemplified by RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough.
@topgurl93134 жыл бұрын
@@MarsLonsen What are you talking about?? The roots of Blues music are in Africa, because the Blues started with African slaves. They got their sound from their homeland. But of course it was not called 'the Blues' in Africa. Then Black Americans in the late 1800s, the descendants of slaves, developed these sounds to create what would be called the Blues.
