Agree that the leather is drier/stiffer than I thought but probably good in the long run to maintain the bag’s structure. Great review!

I got the mont underarm bag. The canvas quality is not bad but id be interested in getting a leather bag from them. I personally really like their monogram because of the homage to Asian heritage!

I really like their bags, but have seen so many comments about how bad the quality of the leather really is. This color is gorgeous! I love how you say the drippy is not your favorite 😅 it’s the one I want lol. I love that the flaps can fit my phone.

I know! I found that super interesting..I thought everyone trusted leatherstein. He raved about it. It's definitely a unique texture I've never felt before. Yea we definitely have different tastes 😆 I can see why people like the flap ears pockets to put your phone however it seems really cumbersome to get your phone in and out of that tiny pocket.

I bought and returned the Luna bag. It was so cute, and the options for styling was fabulous, but the leather was HORRIBLE! It felt like rubber, no leather smell, plasticy, the guitar strap that came with was super flimsy, not at all what the reviews I saw claimed. I was so disappointed, I thought I found a new brand. I am happy you found one that you will enjoy though.

It's very possible the leather quality has been improved. As I said, it's definitely not the horse or Hermes quality. But I think I would say they excel more in the designs and the color selection. Stay tuned to my channel. I got some fantastic options coming up 😉

I bought the Song mini a few years ago and was so disappointed in the leather quality- it was an immediate return. The mini was also too small and didn’t have the magnet flaps at the time. I got the Horse Clementine recently and that leather, on the other hand, is fantastic. And priced better than the Song bag. Your review was why I got the Clementine after eyeing it for a year, so thank you!!

That's sad to hear! Yes I would say the horse leather quality is much more superior to the songmont. But I have noticed that songmont has been continuously making updates to their designs so maybe that applies to the leather quality too? I cant speak to what it was years ago since I've never bought one then. But I'm thrilled you are happy with your horse bag

I love my mini song, it's so cute and fits all my essentials. The leather is not great though, the matte and rubbery feel is kinda weird to me.. it's a fun bag but not a forever bag.

@@Somehowadulting Ivory. I use it often despite the light color, because of the fact it's a lower priced bag. My Loewe Flamenco in Angora (similar off white color), is used very sparingly because I'm too afraid of color transfer 🤡 P.S. I got my Mini Song from their official Taobao store so it's a bit cheaper. Many of their other styles are like 20-30% cheaper than the international site and there are additional discounts during Chinese holidays. I'm highly considering buying from them again at their Taobao pricing.

Hi! Are the measurements on the site for this true to size? I’m hunting for a bag for sports and concert venues with small bag policies that range anywhere from 4.5x6.5 up through 5x9 inches and the site says it’s 6.69x4.93 inches. I’m hoping this beauty would pass! 😍
