The music industry is odd to me. You’ll write a song, but hand it to someone else for them to sing and vice versa? It’s like Benny Blanco, didn’t know who he was until he decided to sing or be a part of a song and never realized he wrote a bunch of bangers, but had others sing it. Reminds me of a group project. Doing the work, but not wanting the spotlight, just the credit or grade or in their case the money without the fame.

@@leonardomichua not all writers are singers. There are so many lyrical geniuses that wont be willing to publish it as their own since they have no reputation in singing. They will be hired and be recognized more if popular singers sing your songs it makes the people wonder “who wrote these lyrics” and youll be honoured more in the industry for making a hit song They all cant be taylor swift who comes up with lyrics as you go through a breakup some singers need help making lyrics as well

I think she’s still definitely a top tier celebrity. I think she’s doing extremely well for herself - I’ve been a fan since she first got introduced to the world - seen her a few times in concert. The more fame would be for her reputation but where she’s at currently she’s definitely made it in the books.

The thing with Camila is that she is genuinely invested her music and only puts out music that she feels is authentic to herself. If you listen to her non releases from first 2 albums - scar tissue , taxi and so many , you'll see that she doesn't care about popularity but how she feels. Crying in the club is extremely popular and successful and is played everywhere, but she doesn't sing it live because she didn't feel her best while recording it and didn't think it's true representation of her. That thing is more important since it defines you as a person. I still listen to her version of Anyone since she wrote it and feels personal than Justin's
