It’s so beautiful to me. To see the songwriter side of a song before it’s over produced and turned into a pop anthem. It shows the deep side of the lyrics. And the emotion when you play them gets me 😩

Your version sounds more emotional to me. No wonder you're the author of the song)

I love how you can hear and sense the songwriter’s personal feelings whenever they perform their own songs. You can really feel the passion and honesty with him performing this song. I don’t think anyone else could perform this song with that much feeling other than the songwriter himself 💛 I have been singing this record for quite a while now since it’s been the most fitting to a specific breakup I’ve been through. Whenever I’m singing it, I’m so much in my feelings and feel so vulnerable and strengthened at the same time. It just really helped me processing it all 🤍

i came across this song just a few days ago.. i used to ignore it back when it was released and it was blowing up because the music was too upbeat for my liking but for the first time, I paid attention to the lyrics and my oh my, i’ve been listening to it on repeat trying to look for a good acoustic version, or something slower. this is perfect. you’re a brilliant songwriter.

I didn’t know exactly who wrote this but either way… this is probably one of my favorite songs ever. And I’m a music snob. This song played on my list on repeat for two deployments… after a breakup. It’s painfully beautiful. Love it so much. ❤️

i heard of you through Our Tiny Tribe. I didn't know that you wrote this song I've been singing along to it while driving since it came out. Listening to you sing this song has made it sound so different and elevated it to another level. Could you make it available on Spotify please?

It never fades away, it's staying Your kiss like broken glass on my skin And all the greatest loves end in violence It's tearing up my voice, left in silence Baby it hit so hard, I'm holding on to my chest Maybe you left your mark, reminding me to forget It doesn't matter where you are, you can keep my regret 'Cause baby I got these scars, reminding me to forget Reminding me, I got these scars, to forget your love Keep reminding me, ooh, to forget your love
