2:56 You mean the american revolution, not the american civil war. He was dead 38 years before it started. (1861-65)

Would the working poor by David shipler be a suitable to book to compare to with the title of an essay being how writers depict poverty? Or do you think his poetry is not really based on poverty but more on other themes?

It depends on whether you are completing a comparative analysis between centuries and different cultures. If you are writing a sociological essay this may be best as a passing reference...sounds like a fascinating area of interest though!

Hey Hanna, thanks for your video. But how could Blake by influenced by the American Civil war (1861-65) when he died in 1827? I think you were thinking of the American Revolution.
