Honestly a few thing they could add into the game would be 1. Multi story building: it is already a thing even in ancient time, it would help immensely with the housing issue. Just smack a bunch of modifier onto it like filth and noise 2. Transportation: wagon, stage coach or anything that can be use to extend the distance worker will travel from their houses to the workplace. There are more but those are the 2 thing that is at top of my head after watching the video
@henriqueribeiro8167 Жыл бұрын
Point two is exactly what I scrolled down to write. In rural areas of Brazil, farm laborers are hauled to their workplace all toguether in the back of a pickup truck from a more residential area of the nearby city. A planned "state" coach-service, or Carts for the citizens hauling goods + people on their own (think people getting lifts on hay carts) would be perfect .

Realistically, people who would immigrate to the middle of nowhere were probably looking to farm. They'd want some land for themselves and would probably be tough and willing to defend it. And you better not piss them off, because they're tough enough to fight for their rights. However, farmers wouldn't care about much so long as you leave the alone (ie. don't tax them too much), nor would they be pursuaded by intellectuals of certain ideologies. Pretty much every other immigrant would just be someone looking for diverse work opportunities in a city. Or they're disaster/war refugees. Or they're staying temporarily, because they're agents, merchants or whoever.

This is looking really good so far. The population "issue" (if you want to eat you had best be willing to walk more than 100meters to get to work) could really use something and one apartment per person seems excessive, there needs to be better options for more family/multi-generational accommodation that can hold 6-10 people each (2-4 grandparents, main couple, 2-4 kids) plus maybe even clan/familiar-houses to really hit the theming for a more medieval/tribal approach to how people used to live. Hell, even in the industrial revolutions and peak-national production phases especially you would get entire families plus pets in terraced houses lined u by the hundreds to work in single-facilities where those very streets in which they lives were built and managed by the mine/factory/farm/town owners. leaning into that sort of thing would help make this feel a lot like an endless array of disconnected dots running around in their narrow lives rarely interacting with one another (plus PETS!, or at least, working animal companions for stat-boosts and sundry out-doorsey tasks like guarding, hunting, scouting, transport, farming, industry, foraging, warfrare/skirmishing, supply runs). like I said tho, some significant stepts already taken to making this look like a title that's right on the wedge of must-buy/cult--classic.

if someone gonna go in to this with the idea of having homogeneous population, like i did, consider that you will make the game MUCH harder for yourself that way, perhaps even unplayable. 8 days of food? is that due to more food per person? my number is 30 days of food, it allows you to tweak your logistics more properly and allows for more smoother acclimation when adding citizens. Plus it allows you to focus on getting a sustainability on three to four food per person and then 3-4 cloth per person. But maybe you're already doing that and thats why its so low. But everyone i watches always has such low food in stock lol. you also should have more warehouses put up. just mini ones all over,especially next to canteens and the storage ones. You just make a mini one that fetches only drink, food, and whatever else you need. that way your people are always able to get clothes food and drink and not waste time.
