Too young to ever see him live. How I wish he was still here with us but God had other plans I guess. RIP Jason, you're music touches me unlike any other.

On the road We didn't see a soul for hours And on the road You didn't say a word for hours To fit the mood It sends a chill through me When you look at the stars and say You all are behaving like your blood is the same as my blood But you let the world stop trying And you let the world stop trying You let the world give up And my blood runs against that kind of blood The name of this place You speak it like a question You speak it like a sentence all its own It tells us how the world has merged in places with the dark It sends a chill through me When you look at the stars and say You all are behaving like your blood is the same as my blood But you let the world stop trying And you let the world stop trying You let the world give up And my blood runs against that kind of blood Nobody tries that hard anymore

As I understand it, the singer from the band Morphine died on stage mid-song, somewhere in Italy. If you haven't listened to Morphine, check the album Cure for Pain. Trust me on this one 🙂

This actually reminds me a lot of Tool. Beautiful thoughtful vocals, heavy and loud chorus, and overall kind of cynical tone. Love the lick on the chorus where it goes kind of high pitched. Playing this and seeing this performance must have been really moving especially if you knew the lyrics.

I'm not sure how to interpret these lyrics. What's your take?
@AlphaDaddy824 жыл бұрын
@@sortedtales To me it's: Feeling alone in this world. They think they have the same blood. But it isn't, so he can't find a way to relate. Jason trying his best, giving his all in being a great human being and others not trying as much. Being sensitive while others just don't care is kinda frustrating (earth has merged with the dark).
