Ok now I’m going to have to watch Hairspray today. One of my favorite musicals! I’m stopping the video now. Carrie Underwood was never meant to be Maria. I didn’t watch The Sound of Music Live for that reason. She isn’t even close to how well Julie Andrew’s did the part.

totally agree about carrie as maria - she couldnt be less maria...i couldnt even bear to watch it when i heard it as her playing the part, bc thats my fave movie and i couldnt think of wathcing her ruin it for me
