For lack of polish this was actually pretty cool. Reading the lyrics it doesn’t look like there’s much meaning beneath the surface, no real story to tell, but you listen to the words and you still ‘feel’ something. I don’t understand but the art and words still resonated with… something. It really comes down to the tempo, cadence and instruments of the song. Your mind associates them with feelings regardless of the words and I think this is what gives this song purpose and power to make you feel.

I definitely agree with you on the mind associating the lyrics with feelings. for me, this feels like a hero finding a hope to cling onto in what has been a losing battle, that moment they needed to break through to start turning the tables and coming back from what seemed like a doomed battle brought upon the winds that guided them this far

i really have to admire the care into this! as much as this song focused in ff3, if you've only played 14 you can see how the lyrics work there as well. I'm in that particular circle, and can still imagine this being a song g'raha might sing to himself in a lonely moment, waiting for his hero and inspiration to finally arrive.

What always gets me is finding out just how much of final fantasy lore has been repeated/reimagined/etc across the entire final fantasy series. Especially content in XIV since that’s the only ff game I’ve managed to finish.

Oh that’s a scene from FFXIV! They remastered the song from FFIII for it along with many others and breathed new life into them. Amazing job! It fit both games
