A band called Kaleo did a insanely popular set of songs for the radio station The Current propelled them into one of the hottest bands in recent memory

Check out Benjamin Todd, they do multiple sessions, his vocals match his lyrics, and his lyrics are for those who have seen some stuff.

Personally I think "Cowpoke" is one of Colter Walls greatest songs. It captures his amazing voice so well. You should check it out.

I’ve been obsessed with Colters music for years now. My fiancé and I literally listen to him every single day while playing with the kids and doing normal life things. It’s hard not to get completely wrapped up in his music.

I really love the sound of dead strings and always wait when I have to change strings for them to get rid of the brightness. Glad to find another guitar player who appreciates. This is an incredibly mysterious and iconic song Colton has channeled.

I think you would like Colter doing "Bob Fudge". He's a bit older and his voice sounds a bit different in that one.

"Bob Fudge" is a cover from another canadian legend Ian Tyson. Ian tyson is old school country. I see colter is starting to pay tribute to a lot of older country western musicians. He is single handedly rejuvenating old western music!!!

I believe he tunes down 2 steps and then capos it. Gives it that ol twang like a resonator.

@@SongwriterReacts It's true. I was making sure this comment was made before I made it. 2 steps is basically 4 frets it's detuned, then a capo putting it back at A440...But there's sooo much slack in those strings at that point.

Please keep your videos like this!! Minimal interruptions in the song because you actually can appreciate them. Unlike these other reaction channels that just talk to hear their own voice. I subbed 👍

Please oh please check out The Steel Woods- Straw in the wind. Or their song Axe! Super super awesome southern rock group. They also have a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover of I need you from one of their live streams. Any of the 3 are great intros to the band. All of their songs are fantastic!
