Seeing new video with "Mistreated" in the title really caught my attention, had to see it...and mate, this one did hit like a ton of bricks! Have drowned hundreds and hundreds of hours in Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin and I do struggle really bad with covers, but am saying to myself Matt wouldn't have a crappy version here.. :) This was such amazing surprise to me! Haven't been listening to Deep Purple for years now so I believe I'd most likely struggle with the blindfold test here too, such great performance! Love this song

I remember watching "Mistreated" performed by Deep Purple @ Cal Jam as a little kid. with my dad on prime time t.v...."Smoke on the Water" is probably the most riff of all time imo but my favorite is his the outro to the solo on "Mistreated". Walter hits it @9:16. This is a really cool version and nice reaction and overview of DP history and Glenn's role in it. There was some talk of a Mark III reunion before Jon Lord died with Lars drumming for them. Now That would have been spectacular!
