First. I am a huge Mori Fan and love your reactions. That being said please please do a Faouzia day. She is and amazing songwriter. Wonderful planist. Plays violin and who knows what else. I am blown away by this woman's talents. I think you will be to. She was recently on singer 2024 and placed 4th behind 3 Chinese artists. However, she really one the comp. She placed in the top most weeks.I would definitely continue with her stripped versions of her songs. "You Don't Know Me " , "Bad Dreams"', "Born Without A Heart" Do the non concert ones. I feel the quality is better. Also, from Singer 2024 "Desert Rose" (sting cover).

They invite 2 or more foreign singers to participate to boost ratings. The singers exclusively represent themselves. So, Faouzia is a Canadian singer of Moroccan origin, but she does not represent either Canada or Morocco let alone Algeria. She represents herself as FAOUZIA, a professional vocalist.

Thank you gentlemen for finally reacting to one of the most fantastic singer-songwriters of our generation. Faouzia. She is Moroccan -Canadian, currently living in Canada. She recorded this song when she was 17 or 18. It's one of her own originals as she does most of her own originals. Her stripped down versions are absolutely astounding. Usually just a piano and her voice and it's so mesmerizing and hypnotic to watch. Fawzia is able to sing seamlessly through her registers and immediately connect with her audience. Her Arabic background is where you hear the quick vibrato which is absolutely wonderful in this beautiful pop song that she wrote ! . Guys., you have a long journey to go with Faouzia because she isfinally becoming international superstar as we watch this video. She is a brilliant young songwriter. She speaks three languages, plays three classical instruments and is just finishing up her degree in university. University. This girl has got it all . Beauty, brains and talent. Those are three undeniable truths that we know as Faouzia. and the funny thing is in Canada where she is from. She is hardly known. I could walk the streets and mention her name and no one's ever heard of her either. This girl had to go to China just recently and entered one of their wonderful singing contests where she an overnight sensation and became a star in their country performing all over China and they love her over there. Sadly, she will become an Asian superstar before she becomes a North American superstar. I think you'll enjoy the journey as we all have. Her videos are absolutely fun and entertaining to watch so different than most videos. Her artistry definitely shows through that. But it's her stripped down versions that really get to the the heart and soul of her artistry. I would suggest any of her songs from back in the day at the Burton Cummings theater during covid when she had her own recording concert. Nobody in the audience but sang all her own songs and delivered an absolutely powerful performance. I would suggest her song " Elon" at that concert because it is truly a beautiful song and wonderful masterpiece. Also her cover of " Desert Rose" that she had performed on many occasions that was done by Sting is another one where she really shows off her Arabic influences and I think you guys would appreciate that. YESS! I’m glad you finally discovered Faouzia!! The best vocalist of this generation. She writes and sometimes produces all of her songs. She Plays the piano, guitar and violin. Speaks three languages fluently: English, Arabic and French. This song is a good introduction to her, you need to check out all of her songs, I would recommend Fur Elise (live version), Bad Dreams, Exothermic and she has so many great live performances of her songs and covers like Love on the brain, Desert rose and so much more! I've been waiting for your reaction to any Faouzia song. She's one of my favorite contemporary singers. As a Filipino, I'm so used to hearing familiar vocal range from homegrown singers, professional or amateur. Absolutely dive into her catalog! She’s recently done 13 episodes on the Chinese show Singer 2024 and I believe just completed the 4th episode of The Next Singer 2024 in China as well. She’s Moroccan born, raised in Canada and won a song writing competition when she was 17, received a contract and hasn’t stopped since! She’s also gone to university in Canada, computer engineering (I believe) and I’ve also heard psychology as well. She is really diverse and has lots of range and techniques! At the finals of Singer 2024 she was almost pairs with Dimash, that would have been a sensational performance for the two of them!!!
