Great breakdown Rafa, they do seem to like their long intros. Just put the album on and the first song goes for nearly 2 mins before the words come in. But it’s feeling like new old cure, the kind where you sit on the floor in the hallway next to your hifi and just cry for the fun of it.

the Live versions of the world tour are actually longer..... they like to play and you can see it from how they are on stage, sometimes the intros or bridges are too long but this characterizes the cure and we love them for this too
