Your video was so helpful. And my favorite smudger brush is Houkodou G-S4. It looks similar shape as the one you showed as your favorite, but is a fude brush and won't prick or poke your eyes. It's also very affordable for a fude brush.

It's crazy that your Sonia G Smudger One ferrule dented from falling. I have never had a Hakuhodo ferrule bend or dent from falling.

It must have fallen at a bad angle or it might have hit the edge of the table. But, it is still working fine right now. 😉

Hi Tor - I have the mini base and classic for cream application. I think I have been perhaps mis-using the mini base - I've been trying to use for cream contour and it's a bit patchy in application - bound to be my method! I think I will use the classic for this as you did. Great to see you profile the smooth buffer - I've been on the wait list for the Face One - the wait has gone on forever! In a previous vid you said you thought this was used for mineral foundation application so I'm glad to see you're using for finishing powders and all sorts. Interesting to see how you use this brush for multiple uses and I'm now starting to think the Face one would be useful for last step finishing but actually the smooth buffer is more versatile due to its size. Really helpful vid Tor - so lovely to see you discovering something and seeing how it works. You have such a wonderful style of presentation. Make up and tools are so much fun aren't they?!

Hey Annie! I just got a few of Sonia’s Fusion brushes and I am wanting to use them at work first before I make a vid about them. But looking at the mini base now, I can see that you can useIt for contouring - if you have patchiness upon application, it’s either your cream contour is too “dry”. You can warm it up a tiny but with your hair dryer to “melt” the oils in it so it will glide easier or you can mix it with some moisturizer or primer for some slip. What foundation are you using? A long wear formula one? Yes, I remember saying that the Face One was designed for Mineral Foundations (as per the Beautylish website) - but now that I am thinking about it I might have found it a little too big for my liking. I decided to go for the Smooth Buffer when I saw a photo of it on Sonia G’s Instagram page being paired with a Guerlain Meteorites - and that was a nice visual cue for me on it’s size, density and strength. You need strong brushes to “break down” the Meteorites pearls to lift the powder. 🤗 Thank you for watching! I am here to help in any way I can. 😘
