These are definitely interesting brushes, Lexi. You gave me some really good tips a while ago - thank you a lot. I finally got the Chantecaille Buff and blur brush. Took a while as it kept selling out here. It is great for cream foundation like Westman Atelier, plus works so well with Le Beige Water Fresh Tint, too. I also got the Chikuhodo Homare KZ-04 - what an amazing brush! First time I have true control of placing the blush. Never knew a brush can make such a big difference. So thank you!

Great overview and review of the Fusion series brushes... I also love the jumbo base and am thinking about getting a second one, but I might wait to see how it compares to the new face brush in the Lotus series... I also have the Marc Jacobs Face II brush which is similar to the jumbo base.

I use the black beautyblender pro soap or diluted dr bronners (about a third soap and two thirds water) to clean them and i wash mine after every use.

Wonderful review + demo + brush comparisons 🥰! It is so helpful, thank you🙏! I may eventually pick up a couple to try though I don’t usually use cream products aside from foundation. I am curious to find out if sensitive skin can use these brushes because sokoho on its own usually isn’t soft enough, maybe the blend helps! Btw, what do you think of the new lotus set?

These are very soft so i think they will be suitable for sensitive skin. They feel softer than regular sokoho.

Hi Lexi, I'm not sure if you'll see this comment since this video was posted a month ago. I think I'm going to get this set after watching your video. I didn't think I would need it, but I really like the way these brushes are truly multi-purpose, and of course, great for liquids and creams. I've found that I use a lot of brushes for things I never imagined. I used to have about 5 brushes and now I have lost my mind and I have several hundred! I've just gotten so used to using brushes and rarely use fingers anymore (also, my arthritis has gotten worse and I find it easier to use brushes now). This set looks great. Great review of the brushes. I have to say I missed out before on this set. Surely, Beautylish won’t launch the Lotus Set on the same day. I really want the foundation Fusion brush; but, I can live without the others. How do you feel about the fanshape foundation brush in the Lotus set. I have a fan brush from SG & I never use it. Love the red lippie on you💄💄

Thanks Jane! I don't know exactly when they will be launched but Sonia G's post on instagram the other day said they may be released at the same time. I am actually unsure about the fan brush in the lotus set. I don't use my other ones very much except for the wispy styles. I was surprised to see it is the base brush in the set.

Hello, Lexi! These Fusion Series fude are what I've been waiting for my entire make-up life!! ; D No wonder why I like the Jumbo Concealer so much....because I use stick and pan concealers mostly. This brush works like a finger, patting in the product with purpose yet gently on my undereye skin. The Soft Concealer works to blend out edges or around my nose or even to apply concealer onto my eyes, but I did not like it for applying under my eyes. Your explanation now makes sense out of my choice! Thank you! I didn't luv the Jumbo Base at first. I have some liquid foundation but am not crazy about it on my skin. However, after reading Sonia's mention of it acting like a powder puff with powder products, I found its place in my collection. Do you find that angled brushes which are meant to be used in one direction, do they get damaged because of using it only in one direction? Thanks! I don't use lots of cream products, but since I load my face with balm and cream concealers, I don't like using 100% hair brushes onto my oily skin. So this Fusion Series is a lifesaver for me. I feel better using this bristle mix in case it gets in contact with my face care products. I just read that you wash your brushes after every use. Oh, the discipline!! I'm jealous! HUGS!!! Denise

I am so glad you love these Denise and I am glad my reasoning made sense. I haven't found any damage to my one-directional brushes. I think they get just about the same wear and tear as a multi-directional brush since the design format adds some stability for that directional movement. I am not sure if that made sense in words, but it does in my head! I think this bristle mix is fabulous and I am glad that she is incorporating this into her new base brush in the lotus set too. This is a beautiful review of what honesty looks like. My thought was all the brushes is not need . I love the Jumbo, Mini and Jumbo concealer but I am still deciding if to get the set because the Jumbo foundation has sold out!
