06 ironically had the pinnacle of Shadow the Hedgehog as a character, and Black Knight has the exact same effect with Sonic himself. But of course, these were frowned upon because of how bad the 3D games were becoming due to that "rough transition", which really came to a head with Unleashed and Black Knight when they were new. It's even more tragic when you learn that SA2, Heroes, 06, Zero Gravity, and the Storybook Games...they were ALL written by the same guy, Shiro Maekawa. Really explains something about Shadow as a character alone. Seriously, it's like being a fan of Sonic feels like dealing with an overshattered mirror. At least Frontiers, The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, Superstars, Dream Team, the movies...they all give me hope.

2024 Year of Shadow and I hope this is the Shadow we get back moving forward and some more Team Dark content . Although Prime did a fantastic job with him.
