sometimes i forget that i'm not watching gameplay of a modern EXE game. I mean the timing of the glitches and crashes (like the crash at 8:35 happening when you use Debug Mode as if the game is telling you to play by THEIR rules, or the random SEGA chanting at 50:52 as Hidden Palace turns into a corrupted red palette) , the horrifying digital screeching, the title screen theme at 41:43 playing for just a second before Sonic turns into a flesh color also i love the corrupted Scrap Brain theme at 23:19 with the beeping and humming and later on with the static-like noises and reversed section. It sounds so creepy almost like an Earthbound song at times, and at 35:48 too. It just straight up sounds like horror game ambiance, the static noises don't help. You know what the entire Hill Top sequence was creepy as hell

Hidden palace zone: eggman launched a nuke on the zone, killing sonic, tails, and everything on it, finally stopping that hedgehog for good. Green hill zone: sonic is possessed by a demon, then the simulation (matrix?) starts breaking because sonic and tails werent meant to be in green hill zone. Chemical plant zone: Sonic's twin brother, cinos, rushes through the zone but suddenly is turned into a bunch of blue boxes by some higher beings and jumps down to the pit below, then sonic comes in with tails to search cinos, random stuff happens like a nuke or sonic falling to the pit below and permadying or sonic getting a heart attack (the pulsating pink screen of death) Hidden palace zone again: shadow uses chaos control and sonic's vision splits and starts seeing different colours as shadow is crushing sonic's skull with a metal pipe from behind. Labyrinth zone: Sonic and tails fall into the wrong backrooms floor Emerald hill zone: the voices on sonic's head start yelling "sega" as he tries to escape the zone asap but suddenly he drops dead (game crash) on the middle of the zone. Sonic goes brain dead after eggman drives away, and sonic accidentally pressed the "initiate explosives" button on eggman's machine, causing the island to burn down, eggman manages to escape while sonic stayed behind, the game returns to the title screen, indicating that the game ended with sonic's defeat, however, the chaos emeralds were burnt down as well, meaning that eggman lost the chance to use these emeralds, but luckily, the chaos rings and master emerald are a thing, so eggman hasnt exactly lost yet. Hill top zone: eggman put drugs on sonic's chilidogs, so sonic saw himself fly on a magical ring and landed on a little platform and tails is dying repeatedly. Any crashes here are the result of the overdoes kicking in hard. 23:18 is where sonic's funeral starts, with the sad-sounding music and all, the music is corrupting overtimd because sonic's soul grip on reality fades away. Scrap brain zone: the path to hell, reaching the sonic 1 final zone (of sonic's life), the cameraman is executed when he tries to follow sonic past a certain point, which is where hell's breaking in rule kicks in Hill top zone 2 player mode: the cameraman figured out how to connect two recordings into one edited vid, but he fucked up and the camera footage loops like a gif on a specific point. ???: 36:40 the path where damned souls pass by which leads to hell. 39:02 the camera follows sonic as he falls down and dies where sonic then becomes a ghost and floats away. Emerald hill zone 2 player mode: the cameraman got better at editing footage but still fucked up the quality a bit. The corrupted footage is simply sonic and tails after getting murdered and floating around casually, the death sound plays when the footage of this level ends, implying that whatever got sonic and tails, killed the cameraman as well. Hidden palace zone: the cameraman was killed and woke up with the camera turned on recording the wall, the cameraman then grabbed the camera, stood up, and then turned around and recorded sonic's torture being stuff like water suddenly appearing to catch sonic off guard as his lungs start to fail hopelessly, with the game crashes being the camera breaking from being underwater. Chemical plant zone: Sonic trips and falls down to the pit, but he teleports over the other platform. Tails died permanently from the fall, or his body wounds from the fall made it near imposssible to catch up to sonic. Green hill zone act 3: corrupted camera footage of alternative universe where tails was sonic's friend at an earlier point.
