Sonic 3... so many memories... It was one of the first games I saw when I got Mega Drive 2. I can't tell you the emotion and excitement I felt for this game back then. After the NES, it was a whole new level of graphics and music. At that time it seemed that no better games would be made :D Unfortunately I didn't get to play the Sonic & Knuckles Add-on at the time, but the base game was enough. My brother and I used to play S3 all day long. And then we went through other Sonic games as well. The end credits theme music brought tears of happiness :D Nice memories.

Sonic and Knuckles Generations would've made more sense now that I think about it, unfortunately Knuckles and his treasure hunting and emerald protecting aren't as widely appealing as Shadow, his past, and his powers. Though seeing Knuckles travel back in time to see the Echidna race again would've been interesting.

Sonic 3 was released in february 1994 and Sonic & Knuckles the same year in october, but i'm too lazy to make 2 videos. Besides, you can't fully enjoy them if they're separated.

It’s not exactly THAT bad. Much better mixing for an complete accident that they couldn’t avoid. Maybe I’m just being optimistic because you can actually still hear the melody clearly even when it’s a little loud and that’s actually super cool. *Also slightly jealous of that guitar in hydrocity sounding so much better than anything I can output* Ima go leave my own thoughts on this collection but so far, it already has me hooked
