Lord Metarex It's not hard to be "good" at games when you play on emulators and save state constantly. It's very common on Razor Zenon's channel. I don't know if a single video is actually tool-free. They're definitely all on emulators, though.

Is it just me or do the majority of existing S3&K hacks seem to be focused on difficulty? Whether it be remixed levels, bosses, or a challenge-focused hack, most of the hacks I've seen have been focused on being harder. Not that I'm complaining, just something I've noticed.

Probably because it's easier/takes less time than than level design or ASM hacks. Also probably because of the trend set by "Master Edition" and "Hard Bosses Edition".

Kaaels yeah i don't understand that either, seriously if you're gonna change instrumantation in the hack, then for fucks sake adjust the songs, if you don't have enough knowledge to do that, then don't touch the soundtrack at all, i'd rather have standard S3&K soundtrack with new level design than some songs changed but originals buchered as fuck. And this hack is supposed to be version 5.0?? You would think that he would get the music right at least in version 2.0.

Some of them sounded somewhat interesting. I thought the Ice Cap zone was odd but sorta catchy. Carnival Night Act 2 was ok (act 1 was awful though), so was launch base act 2, and maybe marble garden act 2. But overall I totally agree with you. If you can't do the soundtrack right. Just leave it the hell alone. It doesn't make it more fun to play a challenging hack with shitty music in the background. Same thing goes for these terrible color swaps in the levels. You're not being "unique" when when you butcher the color palette.

You know, I never understood the point of these playthroughs where people rush through getting all the chaos emeralds by act three. What's the point of the playthrough after that? None of the mechanics or enemies matter anymore, cause you're invincible, and you don't get to hear any of the music, cause of the Supersonic music. I dunno, I just don't get it. Isn't the point of a video like this to show off the assets of the game? But once you're Supersonic everything is more or less the same.

Zidana123 as someone who has done that multiple times, i guess it's a matter of getting the emeralds ASAP so you're not looking for the Big Rings throughout the entire game, plus just in case things get a little difficult and you wanna speed right through levels

Was someone using P2 (Tails)? I have a seriously hard time believing that the AI is that legit and was flying you to big rings but I also have just as hard a time believing that the AI (and P2 for that matter) wass so on point it was almost never falling Sonic no matter how fast he was going.
