I just thought "if only you could enjoy the superb music of Sonic 3D but without the crappy isometric gameplay"... searched and lo and behold! You've created this. Amazing work! Seems like a lot of love and care went into this project too, especially neat how you've tried to keep the level gimmicks and bosses similar to the original. The custom sprites are mostly excellent too! Noticing a few curious level design choices, but overall it still seems very carefully designed and I really think you've mostly nailed the atmosphere the original. Little touches like the glow around the fire pits in Volcano Valley are awesome! This deserves way much more love and attention. EDIT - Just realised you didn't make this game yourself! Well, thanks for highlighting it anyway! Hope the creators see this.

Wow you're my first ever superchat :D That's too kind of you, appreciate that immensely & i'm super glad you enjoyed this showcase of the game. Was recently thinking about replaying this with the Saturn soundtrack and going for the chaos emeralds which gives the true final ending. I really enjoyed playing this game just for how it brought the spirit of all the 3D blast levels into 2D, along with it having the 3 & Knuckles sprites too. The level design is kinda quirky just like 3D blast but just like you said it lacks that awkward psuedo 3D gameplay XD And yeah you're right I had no hand in crafting this game, all credit goes to Sotaknux who made all of this, if you have a PC or laptop you can easily play this by downloading it on GameJolt😀

This is actually a really cool concept It kinda reminds me of sonic advance despite it not being the same game in 2D is close enough And this is definitely a better game then sonic blast for the game gear My only wish is that they found away to incorporate the bird collecting gimmick from 3d blast cause I feel like it would make it stand out more compared to the other 2D classics

Bro, the only problem is than the SPECIAL STAGE ZONES are literally Sonic 2 Special Stages but more SATANIZED and more FASTER, which it makes it a HELL of journey to get all the chaos emeralds (if you have ever played the game by yourself)
