Sonic Advance 2- how to get the first chaos emerald

No way little kids were getting the chaos emeralds, this is way too advanced and I’m 20 years old. Even if i were to get the first 4 emeralds, theres no way im getting the zone 5 sky zone emerald. Zone 5 was stressful

This game has incredible gameplay, fast in the Sonic style, even with its high level of difficulty and some poorly positioned obstacles, it remains a fun game. But what really ruins it is the collection of emeralds, whether to try to reach the special stage or even pass it.

@monickieresol I 100% it along with the other Advance games back when I wrote this comment. Yeeah it was indeed hard at first, but then it actually became fun for me. The more I play it the more enjoy it and it became the best part of this game for me 😅 I even wondered if I should place this game higher than Advance 1 🤔 But naaah Advance 1 will always be the goat. But Advance 2 definitely had the best special stages among the three

This is the main reason why Sonic Advance 2 and 3 wasn't as fun as Sonic Advance 1: both 2 and 3 require u to get specific items in order to get the chaos emeralds. Sonic Advance 1 all ya did was find the spring to go to the special stage and that's it

This is my problem with sonic the hedgehog games, they are very great and well-made, but the only way I was able to beat the original trilogy and knuckles, was by playing it on emulator with save states. Even as recently as sonic mania, I hate the impending feeling that you know you have to collect the chaos emeralds in order to see the “good ending” so realistically, you have to play it twice, once to get a feel for the levels , and then again, to explore the levels and find the emeralds, which are well hidden, especially in this game.

Well, in most games collecting emeralds is quite easy, you can find them casually on the map if you are curious to go to a different place or another, but it's not complicated at all.
