CliffTurbo to get through the yellow circle you have to boost early so you can go through the middle of it then time it right

Special Stage 7’s Trick Spots behind the bombs require that you dive into them with A in order to get them. Just be sure to keep your character in the middle of the screen as much as possible before doing so though.

It's somewhat of a continuity error for Tails to be flying the Tornado one and not the Tornado 2. Very odd.

I don't get why these had to be the Special Stages. They're not the halfpipe Special Stages that have been constantly reused, granted, but my depth perception is utter shit here. I keep thinking I'm right above a set of Rings, when it turns out I'm way off. These are basically character and Ring sprites being used in 3D environments, and it just doesn't work.

@@ElectrikStatik900 And so is the method of accessing them, especially in the later levels. You have to find a large Spring hidden in the level that takes you to the Special Stage. The problem here is that you have to have prior knowledge of the level layout in order to find said Spring, especially since it can be well hidden.

Making a 3Desque depth is challenging but possible to do for a 2D game. It worked fine hete, but it might be difficult to beat at first.

I remember playing this all the time on Ngage... Fun times, when I still used to genuinely enjoy a game. It was such a unique feeling. I tried playing this again after a decade, but it doesn't feel the same anymore. I guess some days are special for a particular thing or timeline.

@@rollflasher89 In Sonic 2, you only have to worry about lining yourself up left and right. In these, you have to worry about 4 directions. Also, you have no reference frame to judge the position of the rings in this game. In Sonic 2 you can easily tell where they are because they’re on the ground.

Man, these special stages are awful! I hate the depth perception with these rings since they’re so horrible! If they do a remaster of the Advance trilogy, Hopefully they’ll fix the depth perception with the rings and fix the trick gates. Even, the advance 2 & advance 3 special stages were better than this! (At least the music is catchy)
