Honestly I am glad to hear a remix that sounds good and makes it easier to hear what the lyrics actually are in the song.

That was fantastic!! I don’t hear a lot of remixes that utilizes the original vocal as well as this one! It’s mellow but still has that extra spice that feels new, especially that solo! It was also nice to see the piano notes layered over the gameplay-a very nice touch for a visual fans out there! Keep up the great work! 🙌

Awesome work, Glitchman! It looks like today was Escape From The City remix day, with you and @Player2 being on the same wavelength. :P I love when people integrate the original vocals with remixed instrumentals, as you've done here. The more acoustic style gives the piece a completely different feel, while still maintaining the upbeat drive and freedom of the original. Trully, you've done a remarkable job mixing the vocals with your supporting instrumentation, and everything sounds balanced and clear. And the way you go full-energy at 2:08 with that guitar solo... so sick! Props to Claire Anne Carr for the arrangement, and to you for making it come alive so vibrantly! I just love the sound of the clean electric guitar here, and it just perfectly captures that essential "Sonic" feel, like in Metal Harbor (also one of my favorite tracks in the game). The percussive elements really stand out in this remix, as well. I love the use of frequent drum fills, transitional effects, and just the general choice of drums used here. With the modern electronic drums giving a crisp and punchy texture to the beat, it definitely has more of a synth rock feel, as you mentioned, and makes for a cool hybrid sound. As usual, the visuals complement the music nicely and really add to the enjoyment! And, as someone who's terrible at picking up specific notes, I really appreciate seeing them in the interactive piano roll - especially that guitar solo. And the intro and ending clip are perfectly times, as well - props for that! It's great to see another upload from you, and I hope your summer kicks off to a great start! See you around! ^_^
