I've never been happier to have a physical console copy of this game if this is really how the steam version runs. But that part of Eggman walking into the lab at the same pace as a cat is the funniest part of this video.

Guarantee the consol verson is not like this. Is the camera kinda janky, yeah, but not uncontrollably so... Most of the time. And the dialogue doesnt overlap nearly as much. Not nearly as much. No idea why this is sped up so much Its so entertaining tho, ngl

i think your fps is affecting the game it's going faster than it should try capping the fps at 30 and if that doesn't work, in fullscreen make sure a 60 Hz option is checked, or in windowed mode, set your desktop refresh rate to 60 Hz before booting the game. Force v-sync off at a driver level

yeah i think that’s what i ended up doing at the very end. it ran MUCH smoother and i actually managed the clear the level decently without getting a major headache lol

Also, it'd be my dream if you decided to play Penny's Big Breakaway afterwards. A 3d Sonic like game by the SonicMania devs. With a banger soundtrack too. Just so you could possibly see what an unbroken 3d sonic like game could be (I mean I know there's Sonic Frontiers too, which is solid aswell, but i want Penny to get some more clout cuz she's hella underrated imo)
