all of those unused bits of White jungle are all from different parts of green forest. the ring trails are the same as the upper pathway in the beginning of the level, and the enemy formation and ramp are all from the end of that section

No. Objects in all levels, character models, lighting system, "total rings" counter, emblems for all A-ranks in Cannon's Core and chao karate, black market, chao stats and so on. It's all based on GC version. Big is the only difference (but in Wild Canyon there is still a ring).

I know a trick that many people probably know, in Radical highway, you can get more rings by going to the flame ring area and using a light dash. I mostly use it to grind rings for the chao garden. Also, the light speed dash cam kill enemies if there is a trail of rings, but it sometimes may hurt you, so be careful when you do that.

I think if you use knuckles and moon jump in wild canyon, you can reach that landmass above the air current. You can see its shadow when going up.

I think you meant the time stop trick in Sonic's section of Cannon's Core (the same trick as Rouge does exist but I haven't snown it here). Destroy one artificial chaos, return to the "time switch", touch it and spindash AND JUMP right after releasing the spindash button.

ok thx about the spindash thing. i tried that way but is hard for me. much like the timing of superjump...? and no, i meant Rogue. other vids i see they somehow do a run kick off that time stop and the drill drive and permanent time stop. i tried spin dashing through a different time mech with sonic but it didn't seem to work.

I've gone back in city escape (using superbounce to return to the intro snowboarding / gun truck chase to get all rings) and it DOES go past the counter. It's so fun manipulating the game, because it has no idea what to do.

Also, on Green Forest, the invisible platform on GC might also exist on DC, because there is an invisible wall where you do the GC shortcut(although it is different and makes it impossible to do the GC shortcut anyways) It was me who said "The GC version should have an invisible platform as well. You can not superbounce. It is then impossible to get all rings in City Escape.

It's actually not a hard glitch at all. You need to gain decent speed with a spindash and once you have the bounce bracelet, you can either quickly jump and then bounce next to a wall or spin dash off of something (like the key slot in pyramid cave) and bounce next to the wall. Try it off of the first key slot in pyramid cave. Spindash for maybe 2 seconds and then let go and as soon as you're at the wall bounce.
