there is also a ice cap glitch where you go into ice cap and go into the middle part of the wall. then try the one by the door and also when you get to the last part, do the glitch and then he will fall for a little while. then when you see a little light, head for the tube. then start running down and then you should make it to the capsule

Fun fact, the overkill glitch also works in the Gamma boss fight as tails. When you hit Gamma he gets invincibility frames. After hitting him the third time the game will load a cutscene but only after his invincibility frames end. As tails you can use your endless tail attack to constantly hit Gamma making it so that cutscene won't play because Gamma's invincibility frames keep reseting.

I have actually finished emerald coast as Tails, Knuckles and Amy using moon jump (2 of them being a lot easier than a certain orange two-tailed fox) and after completing the level, it warps them to the past with no way to get out... unless you quit out of the story and go back in again

There's an even easier way to enter emerald coast as tails : stand in front of the bars but don't get down the stairs, you need the jet anklet, fly towards the bars and when you reach to the top of the LEFT part of the bars, fly towards the right part and boom tails is in emerald coast

There's an easier way to get Tails into Emerald Coast. Rather than having to fly all around the hotel from next to a load zone, you can just go to the corner of the chairs/tables by the pool, fly up and clip through the wall there. Then just land on the edge of the floor and you can easily cross the void in your next flight to get to the Emerald Coast loading zone.

Something very strange happened when I beat Zeta in the Dreamcast version. I was doing the 50 rings objective. When I defeated Zeta, the game slowed down to a crawl. The picture was torn vertically in the center and the right side wasn't cleared so multiple copies of its head were displayed. Everything went back to normal after the robot's head normally leaves the screen. I was sure that the game would crash! I wonder what caused this?

You want a glitch. Here's one for Sonic Adventure DX on Xbox 360. If you beat one of the six stories, there is a 20% of your story percentage going back by 30%. So if you beated the story 100%, then sometimes it will go back to 70%. This has happen to me twice. Once on E102 Gamma's Story and the other on Knuckle's Story. Also, another glitch, and this one is 50% chance of it happening, is that on Knuckle's version of Sky Deck on both Xbox 360 and Gamecube is that the door won't open to where a Master Emerald shard would be and it's on Rank B and Rank A. It's only a 10 % chance on Rank C. I wish they patched both of these glitches.

crazy how even through you can do stuff that lets you enter stuff early/not supposed to...it still breaks, like you'd think maybe doing stuff early as sonic would set a flag...

Wow, these are ancient methods from a decade back. There's actually new ways to get Knuckles into Emerald Coast, and Sonic into Twinkle Park early. You can also finish Sky Deck by going into the Egg Carrier's pool area and clipping Out of Bounds, where he's still softlocked, but you can use the Chao Garden to exit the Egg Carrier. You can also fix the uncompletable file by entering each of the cutscenes until you're back to the Egg Carrier and you can proceed as normal, as far as I'm aware

I found a glitch: As knuckles, go to casinopolis. Get to the pirate ship area. Go to a part where 3 barrels line up Stand back a bit Move towards the barrels Do the three punch combo, with the last punch hitting the barrel If done right, knuckles will fly into the air.
