Sonic Adventure Generations + HD Dreamcast Sonic

Sonic Adventure Generations is a mod that puts re-imagined Adventure and Adventure 2 stages into Sonic Generations. There's Emerald Coast, Windy Valley, Mystic Ruins, and Pyramid Cave. I also use a custom made HD Dreamcast Sonic Model and BetterFxPipeline.

I agree, but just giving Dreamcast Sonic the boost when that's specifically a Modern Sonic addition feels more like a skin for modern and less like DC Sonic. What I would suggest is give him the abilities he had in SA2 like the bounce band, lightspeed shoes, and the magic hands for puzzle sections. But one thing DC should not have is boost, so replace that with the spindash and I'd say it's perfect!

Paul Johnson well, something you don't see in this video is that this mod actually reduces the amount of boost that you have, thus meaning that you run out faster. Unfortunately, this is a Generations mod, and the boost would be very difficult to remove, so decreasing the amount you have works well. Edit: also, I believe that the bounce bracelet is in a mod somewhere, but I don't remember well.

@@sonicovertime There are a lot of hidden things in the mod that are betrayed by the harsh lighting. I spent a lot of time trying to get the lighting just right, but the GIA process was so slow on my computer at the time that it was impossible to fix most of the issues.

I gotta say, altho they obviously looks rough on the edges, these stages are pretty incredible. Mystic Ruins especially is kind of a fan's dream come true. You end up going pretty much everywhere, passing by every known landmarks and it's quite the spectacle.

Yeah, but Generations 3DS Emerald Coast is nowhere NEAR as good as the original. I recently began a new playthrough of Sonic Adventure, and the difference between the original version and the 3DS version is like night and day.

With the BetterFXPipeline do I need to enable FXPipelineRender it via SonicGMI? I ask this because it doesn't seem to work on my end. Just got home to use my old PC and already recorded this exact mod since I wanted to play it, but it cannot run, under any circumstances on my laptop because of the Nvidia bug in RTX and Touring cards.

You just need the BetterFxPipeline and nothing else, you'll need to disable any alternate .EXEs and other fxpipeline mods. I also never tried this on a RTX card yet, idk if that matters or not yet for this mod. (I think it works though on RTX if I had to guess)

@@sonicovertime It won't play it, it will freeze at the hub loading screen. Same for Unleashed Project (fixable if your rename a folder in the mod called "pam000" to "pam000_broke" but it breaks the hub world as a result. Most level mods for that matter break on RTX or Touring cards, so I'm warning you in advance.

I heard Dario actually sent a request for Nvidea to make a driver patch for RTX cards way back but I guess they never did.
