Hey buddy, I don't know what you did wrong with the USB cable but actually the figure lights up without batteries only using the cable, I just got mine today, and it worked fine only with the USB.

@@TitoTheOG I was watching other reviews and seems that some only work with batteries but not with the USB only, and some don't work with batteries, only with a USB plugged in, I don't know if it's a production defect, also I heard some are coming with batteries inside and some don't, someone said it needs the battery inside (dead or charged) to connect the circuit ... I'm not sure ,let us know if you find what's going on

For some reason my sonic statue only turns on with a battery inside and plugged in to a power source, once I turn the charger off and remove it from the wall the light doesn’t work. Has anyone else had this problem? Had it charging for over an hour with a brand new lithium ion battery?

Mine can turn on without a battery with a cable but I just put in a fully charged battery and nothing so now I'm confused lmao
