Tails has been promoted, and I couldn’t be happier. The episode’s a pretty good start to the series. While nothing big is still filled with character, like the little moment where Sonic validates him to fly the Tornado and him just being happy to be there, and Sonic prepping during the thunderstorm for the adventure ahead. The animation has also seen a boost in quality, with a slightly more cartoony addition with squash and stretch, which helps improve certain movements, giving them a pop-like flair. My only real criticism is that it goes kinda fast, maybe like a moment or two to show things like Sonic and Tails landing on Westside Island, or (if this is even meant to be a part of the episode,) Eggman finding Blazeotheorin. Outside of that, solid start, 8.5/10
