Yeah, but... One russian youtuber explained about it. Tails afraid only of unknown things. Eggman's robots are understandable for Tails and that why he saved station square. In the fight with Chaos 4 Knuckles and Sonic supported him. I think in chronology it animation is after Unleahed

Tails has always been 8 in the classic games I don't get why people make him four to six years old because just because of an obvious retcon of Amy's age in Sonic Adventure onward, also I don't think you should be basing Tails skills off of age, he could fix a plane and destroy badniks in the original.
