Hey, Tracey cute cake. Thanks for all the great tips this week. Are you just using sugar paste or do you add tylo, your figures/ models always look nice and sturdy. Also I was wondering if you could advise me the best way to reattach a dry sugar paste head to a dry sugar paste neck lol. I’ve just spent a couple of days making the Rolling Stones and 2 of their heads have come loose. I did use a cocktail stick but the heads are swivelling like the wee girl in poltergeist 😂😂

Thanks! Most of it is sugar paste (the spikes, legs, arms etc.) I just put a small bit of tylo in the bodies as I needed to get it finished and firmed up :D haha yes, I would remove the neck and make a new one! Or, if you don't want to you can pop some flesh coloured paste in the microwave for a few seconds and a tiny drop of water to make a glue/paste x

Thank you for sharing. I love your tutorials but I do cringe when I see the scalpel on your hand because I had an accident with one and it ended up going through 3 fingers. Fortunately it missed anything to cause long lasting damage. Ever since they scare the heck out of me.

Haha I know, a lot of my stuff is blunt. You'll usually only see me do it in tutorials where I am short on time to get it finished, as its takes precious time to reset the whole camera angle,. move the cake, bring in and clean the mat just for a 2 second cut. I wish I had more time, and more sets of hands haha x
