@@ccelite3782heres the problem. In 06, their dynamic was peak. In rivals 2, rouge was a straight up villain, and everyone except sonic, espio and tails were instagram comment sections. Black knight was the closest we got to a decent relationship, even if it was with lancelot instead of shadow. Then pontaff happened and made everything grim. Then flynn fixed sonic’s character in frontiers. But then in every other piece of sonic media, mainly the twitter takeovers, shadow got better as kirk better understood his character, but Roger’s sonic was insufferable in terms of character and voice. Since shadow is no longer an edgelord, sonic should retain the innocence, compassion, youthfulness and coolness and confidence he had in unleashed.

I wonder, if Sonic did get an equivalent to the Doom Powers, what would they be called? Chaos Powers since he uses the Chaos Emeralds? I don't think it'd make much sense for Sonic to actually have the Doom Powers considering he doesn't have any Black Arms DNA. Eh, I'm probably looking too deep into an aesthetics mod.

Wisp powers, elemental shields. Sonics shouldnt have powers. Thats what makes him great. His strength should come from the world around him because hes the earths greatest protector. I like to think that since thats the case, nobody else would be able to use the wisp powers because sonics the one that saved them. So its kinda his powers only. Not because he was born with power, but he earned it for having a golden heart.

Black Doom is powerful enough to use the technique without a chaos emerald. The reason why shadow is able to use so many chaos powers is partly because of black doom's DNA that was used in his creation.

shadow and black doom most likely have some form of battery storage in their bodies without an emerald since shadow is seen doing some of his chaos abilities sometimes without having an emerald even if he makes sure to carry one if possible black doom probably was slowly charging his chaos abilities like a phone while shadow was going through the story
