Seeing Blaze pose like Sonic at the end is hilarious

Now I'm gonna be fair for a second and say that Sega at least let us fully play the characters and understand their moveset. When compared to Remind in Kingdom Hearts 3 which let you "play" as other characters. But for one boss fight each and could not be controlled afterwards.

I'm surprised. One of the few times I was ready to see Metal Sonic and he's actually not in the game at all. Which is actually a shame in this case cause I could see where you clash with him once or twice, then after the Egg Alliance he could be a friendly NPC where the two could interact on friendly terms for once. Maybe even surprise the player by making him playable in the story for the first time.

I'm hoping much like Super Mario Bowsers Fury + 3D World that we can just skip the Sonic part of the game and go straight into the Shadow portion.

To let you guys know hypersonic isn't canonical, he also did appear in another game but it was in a DLC, it is confirmed by the creator of sonic the hyper sonic is not canonical.

So is hypersonic canon or not cause sonic 3 is canon but not the hyperform which I find the reason stupid but ok whatever not even gonna argue with. But trying to get them shouldn't be to big of a problem if sonic could get the requirements needed to get the super emeralds from another dimension.

Just boils down to what SEGA will allow and the writing. During the DLC you had to look for the Emeralds again, could've used that moment to power them up through Cyber energy. Then it's just swapping SS2 with Hyper and still allow room for Cyber Sonic. SEGA and Nintendo have this weird evasion of things that were cool in the past and purposely choose to not use their own lore while constantly piling on new stuff that gets used once then discarded. It's a very poor use of their characters and worlds which is why stuff like the Freedom Fighters or the well-written cast from the first 3 Paper Mario games get no love and Nintendo defaults to basic Toads. Has to be some sort of pride thing.

Lost world is the last mainline 3d game with multiplayer, exclusive to Wii-U (and 3ds, but that's another game entirely). Honestly it was quite fun, if you like lost world that is, I think they should bring multiplayer back in the next game... I won't be pissed if they won't, but still, I miss that component of past sonic games

Is there any way to play this game without the life limit? I play on keyboard and the controls really suck for me. It takes away all the fun
