There’s many ways to tackle the faker thing. Shadow was created rather than being born so he’s Synthetic. Poor Shadow. I feel like they're ganging up on him for using guns and motorcycles. Whenever someone questions why Sonic would drive a car I think of injuries like a sprained ankle or a leg cast - I imagine tails is smart enough to make a car that doesn't need foot pedals for gas and brakes - and it could be the same for guns. In Shadow's case it would just be more efficient to avoid wasting energy to speed around beating people or running around in general.
