This song is normally more actiony and intense for something like an acoustic guitar playing with a soft voice singing the lyrics. And yet, Emi here pulls it off so well that it feels somber and kind of a different kind of cool rising feeling. You can even tell she had fun singing this!

so, there's actually an official acoustic version of the songs instrumental that is alot softer, I assume that's where the inspiration for some of this arrangement comes from. But I don't know how accurate that is.

(Funnily enough, Black Knight is one of my favourite Sonic games aswell cause of it's story, gameplay, music and it's themes it tells in it's story!)
