Remember Jason's dialogue in his last game on which this song is based on? The thing that always bothered me the most about the complaints Sonic was getting at the time was that it was always complaints about what WAS there. Not what wasn’t… so, everything got stripped down and simplified, resulting in the 2010’s games we got. Could some of the decisions made in the 2000’s been fleshed out and reached more potential? Yes, absolutely. But throwing it all away wasn’t the answer… the internet literally bullied Sega and Sonic Team into sacrificing their creativity. It’s no different from an art teacher saying your work is no good because it’s not what they said you should make. That’s how I see it, at least. I’m glad Sonic Frontiers is looking promising so far, and I hope that trend continues to evolve.

This is really hard for me to type because of how vulnerable I am right now... At the time I'm writing this, I just received news about my older sister, my eldest sibling, will be passing away later today.
