Sonic Bird Laeus Review (Zoids X Monster Hunter Collab)

Review of the Sonic Bird Laeus that was made for the 20th anniversary of monster hunter. Bascially a collab item from capcom and takara tomy. A repaint version of sonic bird but with a few more items. Despite being a recolor, the head looks very convincing. But the kit being form the zoids wild line, it has the center motorized gimmick, which also means that this kit has pretty much no articulation. Only area that can actually move manually is the wings. Requires 1 AAA battery and the switch is hidden well. Hoping to see more monster hunter collab items from various brands since monster hunter wilds is coming out in 2025.

Just recently reignited my love for the Monster Hunter franchise, this is dope! I hear that there's a new Monster Hunter game coming out too? What a time to be a MH fan. Oh, and the rider being outside of the monster reminds me of how you ride monsties in Monster Hunter Stories.

yup monster hunter wilds is coming out in 2025 and apparently its being made by the same team that made monster hunter world. So its going to be good. Starting a few days ago they started uploading videos on each weapon on how they are going to be in wilds.

Mine just arrived in the mail today. I've also played the MH games from the PSP era, and collected the games from the Nintendo era. Though Rathalos is my favorite monster, I regret not getting Magnamalo.

I remember when I first started building Zoids, if it didn't have a motor, it wasn't a REAL Zoid. When I started building Gundams, I started to appreciate the idea of poseable Zoids.

rathian is the one that poisons you if you get with hit with it's tail. Rathalos poison's you if it lunges at you with it's claws.
