Sonic in Mario land. perfect combo, what we need is a real game were Sonic and Mario partner up to save the world , as Bowser and Robotnic have teamed up to take over the world. That would be an epic game. This was so fun to watch, loved the idea taken over each others minds.

The rings being coins does kinda make some sense in this context. It's Mario's mind, and all he knows is coins. Sonic sees the round, golden shinies and assumes they're rings, because that's what he would recognize them as.

Unless I am wrong, I don't think there were regular sized chilly bullies in the original Super Mario 64, there were the bullies in the lava, and the big bullies, a couple of bosses that were stronger. And then I remember in Snowman's Land, there was this guy named "Cheif Chilly" who basically acted the exact same as Big Bully, knocking you into water that so cold that it burns you when you touch it. But there definitley weren't an regular sized chill bullies, right? Yeah, there definitely weren't. So I must say, it's pretty neat that they added in the regular sized chilly bullies. Also the Giant Luigi at the start is Luigi in his toy/robot from the first Mario Party, because in the Crane Minigame, those who aren't the crane guy will be toy versions of themselves. 🤖🧊

fun fact: theres a rom hack called "sm64 sonic edition plus" which replaces mario with sonic, every star with a master emerald shard, every 100 coin (or ring) star to a chaos emerald (and with seven of them you can transform into super sonic) and even changes the entire story to a more sonic-like one! the level design is left unchanged but every toad is changed to chaos or sonic characters and every sign is changed to fit the redesigns and the different story. oh and btw is the cameraman

That was cool! There actually is a Super Sonic 64 where Knuckles broke the Master Emerald (Again) In Mario's world some reason. Even though it is short, it really did 3D Sonic well! How many times did you say rings, but they are coins, but I mean rings? But few, if the Dr was OmoChao, Darby would have been annoyed and I would have wanted a new Dr because I do NOT trust OmoChao.
