🎮 Doctor Robotnik's Creature Capture is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog created by MarkeyJester. It stars Doctor Robotnik with a cameo by Sonic the Hedgehog. The objective of the hack is to play as Doctor Robotnik and try to capture as many creatures as possible by using a net to carry the creature to the creature capsule. Level select is enabled by default and almost all levels are open from the start.

There's another Sonic 1 hack where you play as Dr. Robotnik, it's called Robotnik The Dictator in Sonic 1. You basically go through Sonic 1 as usual with all the usual moves, (including the lack of spindash) but enemies don't harm you and there are no bosses. (You just walk past the arena and break the capsule.)

this makes too much sense i was wondering why the sign was to the left but you are literally at the end of act 3. passed the sign, capturing them before sonic completes the stage. i always thought of it as he already had everything finished and was waiting to stop sonic, but sonic is pretty fast so it would make sense if sonic was catching up while he is trying to prepare everything edit: oh there's 3 acts per area in this. well ya get what i mean
