To make the controls tolerable, use the accelerate button, use the analog stick for steering and use the shoulder buttons in the corresponding direction to make a sharper turn

i really enjoyed both this and your Kirby's Adventure video, i hope to see more videos of you playing games like this. Perhaps if you finish your Kirby's Adventure playthrough, you should try playing an RPG like Paper Mario (if you don't like RPG's then don't play it, just a suggestion). :D

No hate tho i found this video funny but... Here's a unironic explanation for Sonic R's quirks: It's not a 3D platformer, its a regular racing game with platformer elements. I know it seems like its another thing but you have to really learn the controls, pressing the drift buttons with the arrows to actually turn sharp. The reason why it is like that is because SEGA hired Travellers' Tale while they were making a actual racing game, then they turned it into Sonic R. It's a miracle that it runs on the Saturn, however the best way to play Sonic R is the 2005 PC release with the Sonic R Mod Loader since you can install fixes to most of the issues you had + the render distance is way better. (By the way the Sonic Tokens are to challenge the stage's secret character, the Chaos Emeralds are only able to be collected if you get 3rd place or higher)
